About Blank

I had everything but courage. The night crossed with the moon and the stars. I gave a helpless cry. The sound of the cry was dreadful. I was solemnly aghast by the incident. The moment had freezed but I was melting second by second. I let the tears drop from my eyes and kiss my lips. I found it courageous- at least for me. Somatic pain is easy to heal, but it takes time to heal the mental pain. It should not have happened with me. Philosopher's say, time heals everything; I wonder how much time it will take to heal this doleful situation. If I was a conjuror I would not have let the milk spill from the bottle.

I got up and started walking but the thoughts were stagnant. What next?? Where do I go?? Everyplace seemed sojourn. So, I did not stop anywhere and kept walking. The thoughts were still stagnant. I had to do something; stop somewhere for some time. I looked up hoping God would be looking down at me. Suddenly, somebody jolted my hand and took the action of dragging me towards somewhere. I did not question the hand and followed in the direction. Let's see what happens....

The stone..

I was sitting on a stone. The stone was placed on the side of the road. Everytime I passed by the road I noticed the position of the stone changed. So, I got rid of it and tried to see who is the person who changes its place. I had heard that this place is a busy place and the people really dont have time.

I was watching everybody with curiosity waiting for one of them to stop and tell me to get up so that he could change the position of the stone. I thought the stone must be thanking me that today he could just sit in peace for some time instead of regularly being tossed by some random person.

Suddenly, a bunch of girls...no boys..oh what do I call them?? Whatever their sex was, they just hovered around me and asked for money. I, with all my courtesy and righteouness opened my wallet and gave 10 ruppees to one of them. As I extended my hand to give the money I saw one hand fished into my wallet and took all the money rested in there. I was shocked and perplexed. All of them walked away happily shouting for some good reason, may be the money made them happy. The next thing I did was, ran after them and held one of them and asked for money. It was a hell out of fight but fruitful, as I got my money back.

Suddenly after putting the money into my wallet I realised that I had left the stone alone to get hit. I ran back to that stone, but alas! the stone was not there where I had left it. somebody had already done his work.

The tree...

It was bad tree. It kept standing erect and did not shake at all, inspite of me begging him for it. I wanted to listen to the sounds of the leaves when they move with wind. But, that day was not at all windy.

It was a long tree. Rather, I think the tree was not tall but I was small and I compared the height of the tree with mine and declared it to be tall. I was only two seasons old. I had expected the tree to listen to me though. At that age I could barely speak. So, my request for it to shake was in gibberish. I think the tree does not understand gibberish. So, it is not its fault, but it was the situation which played all the game.

But, why did I go to the tree in the first place? Well, my parents had gone to learn driving and left me at home alone. They thought that I too will learn to drive my tricycle. But, I changed the whole schedule and went to the tree with my request which I now think that he did not understand. At least I can give him the benefit of doubt.

Suddenly for no good reason I started laughing. The tree also shook and laughed with me, and gave a sign that it did understand me.

Few minutes later I realised it was time for me to go.

So...here is the tree...people laughing...throwing thoughts at my radar, which eventually is challenging me to catch or for that matter, dodge.

Bye, people.

N.P: If you find that tree, say my "Hi" to it!!

Forrest won't run!!

"Run Forrest, run"!!

But, this time Forrest did not run. He kept standing there as strong as a mountain.

"I have some other fish to fry", he said. His class mates kept throwing stones at him, till the stones got over.

Forrest thought, "Sometimes, there ain't enough stones".

All the boys got tired throwing stones at forrest and inevitably started panting. Forrest tried to imitate them: "uggh-uggh-uggh". Jenny got very scared and she started praying, "God, please turn us into birds, so that we can fly, far-far away". Though God did not turn them into birds, but He did send police men there for their rescue.

They caught all the boys. Two of the police men stayed back with them and one of them asked Forrest his name.

"My name's Gump, Forrest Gump", he said. They took them to their house. When the police man rang the bell at Forrest's house, his mother opened the door and was shocked to see two police men at her door step with Forrest and Jenny.

One of the police man asked her, "Where is Mr. Gump, Mrs. Gump"?

"He is on vaccation", she answered, hesitatingly.

Forrest snapped in between, "And if you don't know what 'vaccation' means, I'll tell you. It means, you go...and never come back".

"Are you some stupid or something"? the police man retorted.

Forerst said, "A stupid is what a stupid does".

The police men turned back and started to go. As they were stepping down the stairs, the sound of their shoes tapping on the stairs caught Forrest's attention.

"Those must be comfortable shoes", he said to the police men, pointing finger at their shoes.

Both of them turned back and one of them said, "If we take you downtown, life won't be comfortable for you".

Forrest did not understand what 'downtown' meant. But he did understand the life being uncomfortable for some reason. He said, "Momma says, life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get".

Both the police men got irritated. The other one said, "Boy, do you have anything else to say, or do we go"?

"Yes", Forrest said.

Their faces drooped down with his answer.

"Say it fast", they ordered in unison.

"I've got to pee", he said and went inside.

Eyes closed.

The summer training game. Mumbai railway station.

All of us were at the station, standing in a shallow like place which was probably under construction. The training head was standing in front of us with a grin like a dead fish. We were ready to play the game. Two people had to run on the tracks holding the hand of the other partner. Whoever falls first, loses. Our head was talking to a railway official over the phone confirming about the empty track. While talking he turned his back towards us and took a couple of steps ahead. We were talking, giggling and putting our sardonic win over each other. Suddenly the head turned vigorously towards us and ordered us to bend down on the ground by waving his both hands, open palmed, up and down. It seemed his oratory function was disabled. All of us dumb-struck, sat down in that shallow ditch. The very next moment we understood the reason for the oust direction from our head. All of us were horrified by the sudden revelation and crouched ourselves by pulling both the knees with our hands towards the chest. I could not sit there anymore. I jumped put of the amorphous ditch and began running towards the chaotic sound. I leaped over the stairs and tossed the stones coming my way. There was a wide alley sliding downwards in between two alleviating platforms. A train was stationed there with lots of people surrounding it. I leaned on the railing of the platform which divided both the platforms, leaving my head hanging in the air and saw four boggies lying on the track. Suddenly, I could not hear anything but just a long, drooling sound of Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...............

I turned on the other side of my bed and found that my back was drenched in sweat. I opened my eyes with caution. I have seen this dream many a times. I wanted to find out the meaning of this continued dream. Is this dream giving me some insinuations??
